Based on the success of PCM Studios’ "ViZBoT & the BaLL" character animation from 2007, the Persian News Network (PNN) requested a design for an iconic animated cgi character for use in future network promotions. Our talented designers and artists took a typical news studio camera (Sony Ikegami) and utilized the components in efforts to maintain a design connection to Voice of America's long standing heritage in globally televised news broadcasts. We brought to life Robot-Joon; a 3D bi-ped character with human-like movements and comical personality who made his debut in February 2009.
